| We've got PowerPoint to die FOR!
You
want people to be impressed with your presentation or workshop. The last
thing you want to see are yawns or have your audience thinking, "another
run-of-the-mill-seen-it-before
PowerPoint presentation."
I've given many a presentation and designed many presentations for clients.
I've even won awards for these presentations. But it was my last workshop
that taught me how powerful images can add presentation POWER to PowerPoint.
Before, my PowerPoint presentations were much better than most. I got
great reviews. Then I read about Presentation ZEN and changed how my PowerPoint
images looked and how I used them.
I decided to change my visual presentation style to touch the participants'
emotions in addition to persuading them, teaching them, and leading them
through activities.
What a difference!
While I've always gotten great reviews, this time the participant comments
were OUTSTANDING and several commented on how the PowerPoint images impacted
them.
I decided that more trainers, more presenters needed to learn how to
impact their participants' hearts as well as their brains.
Our PowerPoint background images will make your audience smile.
Our background images give your presentations pizzazz and polish.
But looking good isn't everything!
Of course it's not. But changing behaviour is.
You wouldn't be giving your presentation or training if you didn't want
people to change their minds.
Well, if you're like 99% of people and bombarding your audience with
information and logical appeals, you're only touching a small
portion of their brains.
And we all know that research shows behaviour change is motivated by
EMOTION, not logic. Sure, decisions are backed up by logic. But it's emotions
that are the deciding factor. Just look at the overnight impact of Al
Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. Words combined with POWERFUL
IMAGES overnight changed society and politics.
And that's why we use images that connect with people's emotions.
Randy Harvey, 2004 World Champion of Public Speaking
and Ph.D. says,
The WHOLE brain gets excited, not
just a part of it, when you combine words with images. It lights up
like fireworks.
Other experts also agree. Alan Weiss, the Million
Dollar Consultant, often talks about the power of images, telling
people to create concrete images (words that create brain-images)
instead of boring facts. They're more persuasive because
images create emotional power.
It's hard to do and takes lots of practise to create these concrete words.
But you can stimulate the brain by using our powerful images combined
with powerful words to create emotional and persuasive power.
Imagine.
Imagine
your workshop participants walking into your room to be met by a slideshow
of majestic mountains, towering waterfalls, incredible landscapes, each
with a quote or motivational saying reflecting the theme of your presentation.
Or highlight important points with images that people will remember.
Our images also work well for when you want to emphasize a certain point,
when the class is completing a training activity, at key shifts in topic,
during breaks, or at the close of your seminar while participants are
completing your evaluation.
Ask yourself
Do you want to be more persuasive?
Do you want people to be more impressed with your presentations?
Do you want people to better remember your training?
Do they work?
This is what our customers have said about our images:
- Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! (Dr. E. Bailey)
- a real enhancement to teaching (G. Wilcox),
- vivid and very touching (H. Boyd), and
- a great learning and spiritual experience (B. Dryer).
You don't have to worry that we won't have background images that work
